TruNorth Bank Promotes Three to Assistant Vice President

PEABODY, MASSACHUSETTS — May 13, 2026

TruNorth Bank is thrilled to announce the promotions of three team members to assistant vice president, branch officer: Megan Shea, Julieann Garland, and Colin Scott. Each brings a strong track record of customer service, leadership, and community involvement to their expanded roles.

Megan Shea, of Peabody, joined TruNorth Bank in 2016 and serves as branch officer of its 248 Andover St., Peabody office. She is actively involved with the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce, volunteers regularly at the Peter Torigian Senior Center, and is a former Peabody Rotarian. Megan studied business at the New England College of Finance and brings extensive leadership experience from her prior role as vice president, store manager at TD Bank.

Julieann Garland, of Peabody, joined the bank in 2001 and serves as branch officer of the 1 Hamilton St., Saugus office. She is a board member of the Saugus Charitable Foundation, is involved with the Lynn Chamber, and participates in various community events through the bank. Julieann studied business at North Shore Community College.

Colin Scott, of Newton, has more than 20 years of banking experience. He joined TruNorth Bank in 2023 as Branch Manager of the 29 South Main St., Newton, NH office, where he most recently served as branch officer. Originally from Newcastle, England, Colin studied environmental biology at the University of Sunderland and previously held branch manager roles at Member’s Plus Credit Union and People’s United Bank.
