TruNorth Bank Promotes Michael Sabanty to Vice President, Commercial Lending

TruNorth Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Michael Sabanty to vice president, commercial lending at the bank’s 95 North Franklin St., Holbrook office. Sabanty will continue to support the growth and success of commercial clients while contributing to the strategic expansion of the bank’s lending portfolio.

Sabanty brings eight years of banking experience to this position, demonstrating a strong track record in commercial lending and relationship management. Since joining TruNorth Bank in 2021, he has played a key role in delivering tailored financial solutions and building lasting client partnerships.

Prior to joining TruNorth Bank, he served as a Portfolio Manager at South Shore Bank, where he managed a diverse portfolio of commercial clients. Before that, he worked as a Commercial Credit Analyst at Main Street Bank, developing a strong foundation in credit analysis and risk assessment.

Sabanty earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Bryant University. He has also earned a certificate from the New England School of Financial Studies, as well as a certificate from the School of Commercial Lending through the Massachusetts Bankers Association. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Sabanty is actively engaged in the local community. He is a member of South Shore Young Professionals group and was previously a leadership team member of the Quincy Young Professionals. He is also a cohort member of Leadership Metro South, further demonstrating his commitment to professional growth and community leadership.
