TruNorth Bank Donates $40,000 for Fuel Assistance Funds Earmarked for Low-income Families in Seven Communities.
TruNorth Bank has donated $40,000 toward local fuel assistance programs in the South Shore communities it serves. The donations were made to Self Help Inc. of Brockton and Quincy Community Action Programs, which will administer the funds for fuel assistance to qualifying families in Abington, Avon, Braintree, Brockton, Holbrook, Randolph, and Stoughton.
“We’re committed to supporting the communities we serve, especially during challenging times,” said Michael R. Wheeler, president and CEO of TruNorth Bank. “Providing fuel assistance to local families in need is one way we can help ensure everyone stays safe and warm this winter. It’s about coming together to care for one another when it matters most.”
To apply for fuel assistance or to determine if you are eligible, contact Self Help Inc. at 508.588.5440 or Quincy Community Action Programs at 617.479.8181.
