TruNorth Bank Launches Annual Drive in Support of Local Veterans Organizations
TruNorth Bank is proud to announce its Veterans Drive in support of two local veteran organizations. The bank is asking the community to drop off essential care items at any of their locations during regular business hours from May 26 through July 3.
The bank’s North Shore and New Hampshire offices will be collecting supplies for Operation Troop Support, a Danvers-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting U.S. service members and veterans.
TruNorth Bank South Shore and South Coast offices will support Envision Bank Home for Veterans in Randolph. This drive is an extension of the legacy to address homelessness that was started by the former Envision Bank (now TruNorth Bank). Envision Bank assisted in the development of the Envision Bank Home for Veterans, a 10-unit affordable housing project for local veterans that opened in 2020.
Community members are encouraged to contribute by donating much-needed items such as toiletries, household goods, and personal care items. These goods will be packaged and sent to active-duty service members deployed overseas, as well as distributed to local veterans in need.
“Supporting those who serve and have served our country is part of our core values,” said Michael R. Wheeler, president and CEO of TruNorth Bank. “These organizations do incredible work, and we’re honored to continue our partnership and give our community a way to get involved.”
This initiative continues TruNorth Bank’s long-standing commitment to veteran support.
