TruNorth Bank Welcomes David Twiss as Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending

PEABODY, MASSACHUSETTS — April 22, 2026

A headshot of David Twiss.TruNorth Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of David Twiss as senior vice president of Commercial Lending. He will be based out of the bank’s office located at 248 Andover Street in Peabody.

Twiss brings more than 20 years of banking experience to TruNorth Bank, with a strong background in commercial lending, relationship management, and credit structuring. Prior to joining TruNorth Bank, he served as senior vice president of Commercial Lending at Rockland Trust, where he played a key role in supporting business clients and driving portfolio growth.

In his new role, Twiss will focus on expanding TruNorth Bank’s commercial lending portfolio, building strong relationships with local businesses, and delivering tailored financial solutions to meet the evolving needs of clients across the region.

“David’s extensive experience and deep understanding of commercial lending make him a valuable addition to our team,” said Scott Sanborn, executive vice president and commercial banking officer at TruNorth Bank. “His commitment to relationship-driven banking and his strong ties to the community align perfectly with our mission at TruNorth Bank.”

Twiss is actively involved in his community. He currently serves on the board of the Georgetown Housing Authority and is a member of the Community Preservation Committee. In addition, he contributes his time to the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center Committee and volunteers with Georgetown Baseball.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Business Management, from Nichols College. Twiss has also completed extensive professional development, including credit risk and fiduciary account seminars through the Massachusetts Bankers Association.
